Associate Dentist - Prairie Village Kansas
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Associate Dentist to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, including routine check-ups, restorative procedures, and patient education. Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive dental exams and diagnose oral conditions.
Provide preventative dental care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
Conduct restorative procedures such as fillings, crowns, bridges, and dentures.
Perform extractions, root canals, and other surgical procedures (as needed and within licensure).
Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment options, and preventative care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Collaborate with dental assistants, hygienists, and administrative staff to ensure efficient practice operations.
Follow all state and federal dental regulations and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
Valid state dental license (or eligibility to obtain).
CPR/BLS certification.
Strong clinical skills with an emphasis on patient care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
1–3 years of experience in a general dental practice.
Experience with digital dentistry tools (e.g., digital X-rays, intraoral scanners).
Familiarity with dental practice management software (e.g., Open Dental/Dental Intel).
