 duate of The University of Texas Dental School at San Antonio. Following g
 raduation\, Dr. Douglas completed a one-year residency in Advanced Educati
 on in General Dentistry at The University of Texas Dental School at San An
 tonio. Dr. Douglas then completed a General Practice Residency at The Audi
 e L. Murphy Memorial Veterans Hospital. He is currently the program direct
 or for the AEGD residency program at the VA hospital\, a position he has h
 eld for the past 32 years. Dr. Douglas has participated in numerous implan
 t and dental materials studies\, including a focus implant research projec
 t\, an overdenture implant research study\, a ceramic abutment study\, a s
