The Kansas Dental
Association is the professional dental organization in the
state of Kansas, representing nearly eighty-percent of the
licensed dentists in the state. We promote public
health and health services, advance the art and science of
dentistry, and foster an awareness of the obligations of the
dental profession to society.
The dental profession holds a special position of
trust within society. As a consequence, society affords the
profession certain privileges that are not available to
members of the public-at-large. In return, the profession
makes a commitment to society that its members will adhere
to high ethical standards of conduct.
