Dr. Craig Herre
Elected as KDA Vice President
Dr. Craig
Herre
was
elected KDA Vice President by the General Assembly
at the Kansas Dental Association Annual Meeting in
Branson, MO.
Dr. Herre
has served
as
an officer of the KDA - serving as Treasurer and
previously completing a term as KDA Secretary.
A general dentist practicing in
Leawood, KS, Dr. Herre earned his DDS degree from
UMKC in 1981 has practiced with his Father
(William), brother (Scott) and recently his son Tim
joined the family practice.
Dr. Herre is a past President of
the Fifth District Dental Society, is a the current
Chair of the Fifth District Dental Society Peer
Review Committee, and had been a long-time Delegate
to Kansas Dental Association prior to becoming an
officer in 2008.
In addition to running a busy
dental practice and his many dental commitments and
responsibilities, Dr. Herre serves on the Patrons
Committee of Catholic Charities, has been a Board
member of the Kansas City Chapter of Kansas
University Alumni Association, and Community
Advisory Committee to the REACH Healthcare
Foundation.
In his personal time Dr. Herre
enjoys golf, cross-training, gardening and following
University of Kansas sports. He is married to
Joanne, and has three children, Tim who is his
partner in private dental practice, William who is
in the KU School of Medicine, and Megan who recently
graduated from KU with a degree in Journalism.
