JADA Continuing Education Program

JADA CE LogoBeginning this past March, licensed U.S. dentists can earn up to four CE credits each month through the JADA Online Continuing Education program.

We spoke to the Kansas Dental Board to get guidelines on how a Kansas Dentist would go about earning CE credit by reading the Journal of the American Dental Association.

  • A dentist will need to read the articles ad complete the online testing
  • Submit and pay for the online test  grading
  • Maintain the certificates for completion

“The program is ADA CERP approved,” said Lane Hemsley, Executive Director of the Kansas Dental Board.  “Now we’ve had several licensees just read the articles and not follow through with the testing, payment or grading, so the CE has been rejected.”

ADA members must be registered for ADA.org members-only content and have an ADA.org password to receive discounted testing fees. If you have never registered for members-only content, you will need to obtain an ADA.org password by contacting the ADA at 800-621-8099 x3553 or 312-440-2500 (weekdays 8:30am–5pm Central Standard Time), or sending an e-mail to mscpassword@ada.org.

NOTE TO GOOGLE CHROME AND APPLE SAFARI USERS: You will need to use either the Internet Explorer browser or the Firefox browser instead of Chrome or Safari to access the JADA Online CE program.
