David Hamel, DDS, sworn in as President of the
KDA
Dr. David Hamel, DDS, a general dentist from Marysville, KS, was sworn in today
as President of the Kansas Dental Association at the 2010 Heart of America
Dental Symposium in Branson, MO.
"It's my pleasure to be the President of the Kansas Dental Association," said Dr
Hamel. "I look forward to meeting
with the dentists across the state this upcoming year and talking with those
dentists to gather feedback as to what is important to them and then finding
ways to address those concerns."
The Kansas Dental Association is the professional dental organization in
the state of Kansas, representing more than seventy-five percent of the licensed
dentists in the state. The KDA promotes
public health and health services, advances the art and science of dentistry,
and fosters an awareness of the obligations of the dental profession to society.
Dr. Hamel replaces Dr. Brett Roufs of Newton who has served the past year
as KDA President. Hamel has served the
KDA for the past four years as an officer in the KDA and has been a member of
the KDA for more than thirty years.
