The Kansas Dental Association has a variety of
resource material available to current KDA members
as well as the public (based on availability) to
promote and educate on wide range of dental topics.
KDA Video Library:
Brushing Magic with
Dudley & Dee Dee:
Dudley the Dinosaur
uses magic to teach little sis Dee Dee all about
brushing & flossing. For pre-school age audience. (6
minutes) (DVD & VHS )

Dee in Nutrition Land:
Dudley & Dee Dee
go on a trip to Nutrition Land, where they learn
about the food groups & dental health. For grades
3-5. (6 minutes) (VHS)

Classroom Adventure:
This video takes
kids on a fun-filled classroom adventure as Dudley
the Dinosaur writes a report on healthy mouth.
Topics covered include diet, brushing, flossing,
sealants, mouth guards & more. For lower elementary.

Visit to the Dentist:
This animated
video takes Dudley the Dinosaur through a visit to
the dentist. For children of all ages, this short
video introduces dental instruments & what to expect

Dudley Goes to
Camp Brush & Floss:
Dudley's cousin
Dean comes to visit & accompanies Dudley & pals to
Camp Gitchy Goomy. Along the way, kids learn about
proper brushing & flossing techniques, mouth guards
& the importance of soft-bristle toothbrushes.

Complete Dudley Series:
Learn
about oral health from Dudley the Dinosaur. Four fun
& educational short films, "Dudley Goes to Camp
Brush & Floss", "Dudley's Classroom Adventure",
"Dudley Visits the Dentist" & "Brushing Magic." For
pre-school through grade 4. (40 minutes) (VHS)
Heroes vs. Plaque:
Bring
Spider-Man & the Fantastic Four along to your
classroom presentation and show kids that even
superheroes have to fight tooth decay! Teaches
dental health basics. For grades K-5. (5 minutes)

A Trip to the Dentist through
Pinatta's View:
Children will love
meeting Pinatta, the band & a few special guests
inside the big oak tree as they use music, boggle
goggles & a child's perspective to help children
feel GREAT about going to the dentist! For

Melvin's Magical Mouth Museum:
Accoupany students as Melvin, a Magician, leads them
around the dental museum & shows them the good oral
health isn't magic, it just takes good oral habits.
Stresses the importance of regular dental visits,
daily brushing & flossing, healthy eating & the
benefits of sealants. For lower elementary.

The Video Project:
Follow a group of middle school students as they
produce a video of a dental visit. Illustrates how
informed students can make smart choices to protect
their teeth & overall health. For middle elementary
/ junior high. (30 minutes) (VHS)
Smokeless Tobacco:
Warn kids about the
health hazards of snuff dipping & tobacco. Lists all
the negative aspects of tobacco use. Helps stress to
young people that smokeless does not mean harmless &
how being tobacco free can enhance the quality of
life. For junior high / high school. (10 minutes)

Due to the overwhelming number of requests
for our educational resources, all items can only be
loaned for ONE DAY use (not including mail travel
time) during February & only ONE DVD rental per
school or dental office. Please have your video back
on time. There will be a late fee of $10.00 per day
the materials are late. If the materials are lost,
you will be charged a $50.00 replacement fee. Your
consideration to those next on the list is
appreciated. Thank you.
