Colorado Dental Association Grabs KDA’s Greg Hill for Top Spot

Greg Hill CDA Announcement

Greg Hill, Assistant Executive Director of the Kansas Dental Association, announces to the KDA Board of Delegates that he has accepted the Executive Director position at the Colorado Dental Association. Hill will leave the KDA on May 14, 2014.

Greg Hill CV photoAlmost 15 years to the day after beginning his tenure with the Kansas Dental Association (KDA) as the “Fluoride Guy” on March 31, 1999, the Colorado Dental Association went calling and has hired KDA Assistant Executive Director Greg Hill, JD as its next Executive Director.  Of course Greg’s KDA work responsibilities have changed significantly since that first day in 1999.  He leaves the KDA not only as Assistant Executive Director of the Kansas Dental Association, but also as the Executive Director of the Kansas Dental Charitable Foundation, the parent organization of KMOM, a position Greg has held since for nearly ten years.

Greg has been the right hand guy for the KDA for many years and he is as active and recognizable in dental circles as any KDA staffer.  Greg’s legacy with the KDA is certainly his vision guiding the KDA into the world of social media and producing many KDA/KDCF videos such as the KDA Video Minute.  Greg is a delightful person to be around and his friendly disposition and leadership will be missed by KDA members and his colleagues alike.

The Board of Delegates recognized Greg’s long service to the KDA during its meeting on Friday, April 11 in Kansas City.  Later that evening during the KDA President’s Reception, the entire membership wished Greg and his wife, Gwen, well on their journey to Colorado!

Greg will wrap up his tenure with the KDA on May 14 and begin his new duties with the CDA on June 1.
