Connecting dentists who are nearing the end of their dental careers with dental students entering their careers is one of the goals for the Kansas Dental Association’s Real World Transition Brunch. The annual event will take place on April 11, 2014 at the UMKC Midwest Dental Conference at the Sheraton Kansas City Hotel.
“The Real World Transition Brunch is designed to connect students with dental practices,” said Jennifer Jones, KDA Membership Director. “We also have representatives who offer products and services that dental practices will need once they begin their careers.”
These companies include practice transition specialists, malpractice insurance, property and casualty insurance, financial planning, and financing.
KDA’s Real World Transition Brunch began more than a decade ago and each year attracts over 150 students, dentist and practice representatives
“The Real World Transition Brunch is an opportunity for dentists who are looking for an associate to meet up with students,” says Melodee Armfield, Chair of the KDA Membership Committee.
Dentists can register for the event by visiting the KDA website or contacting the Kansas Dental Association. Registration fees for KDA members is $35 and $70 for non-members.
